Nano Balance Technology is a proprietary TOYO TIRES materials technology that enables ideal material design by integrating the four core areas of analysis, prediction, material design, and processing to facilitate optimal control of rubber materials at the nano (molecular) level.

Applying materials informatics (MI) to nano-level analysis has deepened our understanding of material properties and the accuracy of performance prediction. By pursuing a fine balance between two inherently contradictory performance requirements of fuel efficiency and enhanced braking capability, we are advancing the development of materials that meet both environmental and safety requirements suited to next-generation lifestyles.
