A product of Toyo Tires’® Tmode® computer design technology, this new tire delivers exceptional versatility with reliability, precise all-season handling and a comfortable ride.
The Extensa A/S has a symmetric, non-directional tread design which allows for cross rotation and a long tread life. A shoulder rib connects shoulder blocks for increased stability while full-depth multi-wave sipes minimize irregular wear for a longer tread life and a quiet, comfortable ride.
An optimized centre block arrangement provides good ride comfort, while a high bead filler provides optimized stability to the carcass to ensure precise response to steering input. Two full-width steel belts are covered by a spiral wound cap ply to enhance highway speed stability while improving uniformity. This combination delivers quiet operation, a smooth ride and durability. Four wide circumferential tread grooves work in conjunction with variable pitch channels to evacuate water for improved wet traction.
Available in a wide range of fitments for 13 through 17-inch wheels, the Extensa A/S assures extra confidence on the road. A complete range of 46 sizes will be available starting February 2010. UTQG ratings include a 620 A B for “S” & “T” speed rated tires, and a 360 A A for the “H” rated product.
