RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA –- Toyo Tire Canada, Inc. introduces the Tuff Duty series in five new sizes to the Open Country® H/T lineup. In addition to the ride comfort, quiet performance, and handling capabilities found in the Open Country H/T, the Tuff Duty series is designed to provide increased mileage and durability while under high torque and frequent towing applications.
The Open Country H/T Tuff Duty was designed with greater tread depth and rubber volume increasing the overall tread life. A wider contact patch and more evenly distributed contact pressure also results in better wear mileage.
A 3-steel belt construction design enables the Open Country H/T Tuff Duty to handle demanding semi-commercial use. The addition of this third steel belt reinforces the construction of the tire enabling it to provide good handling and stability while also increasing wear mileage.
Starting March 1, 2009 the Open Country H/T Tuff Duty will be available in five new sizes:

- LT245/75R16 120/116R E
- LT265/75R16 123/120Q E
- LT285/75R16 126/123Q E
- LT265/70R17 121/118R E
