I have owned 2 sets of Observe Gsi-6 winter tires on 2 separate SUVs. One being a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder 4x4 and the other a 2022 Chevrolet Blazer AWD. Traction is great and barely requires switching into 4x4 or AWD. Tread life is excellent, sold the Pathfinder (5 years owning) before I could ware down the tires. Just took the Blazer on 2800km trip at christmas through Canada mountains. Tires are quiet and provide confidence. These tires are my top choice for winter driving. Customer service was excellent to deal with.

I have been using the Observe winter tires for many years and they have always served me very well. My F-150s in Canadian winters work exceptionally well in heavy snow. They are good on ice, but much stronger as a snow tire.

Toyo winter tires have always been a grippy tire in Snow and Ice , especially when going up a hill in Qc , Canada winters . I have total confidence in them . You also need to drive slower in Winter with any tire. Satisfied.

20 plus years ago we lived on an acreage with a 90 degree turn up a short steep hill up to the house. A December freezing rain storm made the hill impossible with the all seasons on the front wheel drive vehicle I owned at the time. The local tire shop shewed me a variety of winter tires but the Toyos with Microbit technology were their recommendation. They were installed. I went home and drove straight up the icy hill, no problem. I was nervous to give the hill a try, I had already slid down backwards once but that day Toyo Tires became the only tires I would drive in winter. I do have the GSi 6 on my current vehicle and would not buy any others. Their grip on glare ice is noticeable and over the years I believe have saved me from a serious incident several times. They are excellent on ice and deep snow and keep that good traction even as they wear.

Toyo winter tires were recommended by Jake at OK Tires in Brandon Manitoba and we are very happy with our purchase. Any nervousness driving thru a typical Manitoba winter are now gone after purchasing the new winter tires.

I've been running these for 5 years - this will be my 6th winter on them. They are still in next to brand new condition. The majority of my driving is Highway, so its actually not too often that I actually need a full winter tire, though I do drive about 10 km of gravel roads, which are always snow/ice covered. I drive a Subaru STi, which does 0-100 on dry pavement in about 4.5 seconds. On these tires I can do 0-100 in around 4.7 seconds on the snow/ice covered gravel road.

Tires as expected and as rated. It's a comforting feeling to have reliable tires in winter conditions. What's more comforting is that my wife feels safe with these tires. No comment on tread wear since new in December.

Got these winter tires for winter in Calgary and so far they've been excellent. Very quiet road noise. Good traction on snow and ice. Great ride.

From wet ice to sloppy snow the traction, steering grip and braking are the best I've experienced. I have purposely pushed them hard in bad snowy conditions to test the limits of traction. In some conditions when I would have been using 4 wheel drive for traction and steering control was absolutely no need with these tires. Had the Toyos with walnut shell technology before and were great tires too. Wrong size to fit replacement vehicle and new truck came with winter tires. My love of the Toyo winters instrumental in decision to buy Proxes 2s for summer use.

I put the gsi 5's on my 1500 Chevy and was thoroughly impressed with them. I run them at the max 40psi recomended on the sidewall and don't load my truck up too much to need a stronger LT rated tire. (I normally tow a small trailer with an atv for ice fishing never more than 2500lbs) I've got 4 winters out of these tires and this 5th winter they'll likely be finished but have been an amazing tire. They likey saved me writing off the truck when I was sideswiped in freezing rain and managed to regain control of the vehicle after being pit maneuvered by a Volkswagen. Can't recommend these tires enough. Great tires for a sportsman.

I just purchased my fourth set of Toyo Observe GSI Winter Tires. The first ones I purchased were for my new 2011 Toyota Sienna...after six years of excellent service, I replaced them with the same tire in 2017...they are now in their seventh (and likely last) year of service. Excellent performance...great traction and tread wear. I also purchased a set of Observe GSI tires for my 2009 Toyota Corolla in 2020; after three years of service, I transferred them to my daughter's 2010 Honda Civic. These were my third set of excellent Observe GSI tires. My most recent (fourth) set were just purchased for our new 2023 Toyota RAV4....three weeks in we haven't had a lot of snow yet...we've put over 1000 km on them (mostly highway)...quiet ride; good traction in wet conditions.

I am a super fan of Toyo tires,all of my past cars I have had always rode on Toyo wintet tires.. My st set was the observe Go2 and Gsi4, Gsi 5 and now the GSI6. I found to be like riding on clouds and had a good trend life compared to the Blizzack tires.I have recommended these tires to all of my family and friends and they have no regrets. Some even bought other tires after using Toyos and found that they did not feel safe with the alternate choices so they went back to Toyo.

Purchased a new set of these tires and drove them for one winter season. Put less than 5000km's on them and two need to be replaced. Toyo wouldn't cover the cost to replace these two tires which had abnormal tread wear.

I am an avid car enthusiast so after much research and debating between brands, I decided to pick the Observe GSi-6 for my winter tires this year. Being a former owner of both Blizzak WS80 and Pirelli Ice Zero FR in the past, I was extremely happy with the decision. Not only the Observe GSi-6 surpassed my expectation in heavy or slushy snow handling, the tires also generate very low road noise on dry condition and even surpassed my favourites Pirelli Ice Zero FR for comfort. Overall, I am glad with the switch and can't wait to try other Toyo tires.

We bought a set of 4 in October of 2022. About two weeks ago, we ran over an object that destroyed the tire. No compensation and full price for a new tire...$250.00 That's not performance. No more Toyo for me.

Why is it not in the top 10 winter tires 2022 ? no mention of this brand or type. 3 star..I wanted GSI-6 was not available for my car model at the time :( ...otherwise I would give 4 star. can't give 5 star..not in the top 10 **** OK Tire recommended them where I got them. they talked me out of Blizzak. Only used them 2 seasons....so far didn't fail it . Noisy on the road..but a smooth unusual hum.

Achat de 4 pneus GSI-6 LS en novembre 2022 parcouru à ce jour environ 600 km installer sur VUS 2023 ...... très très déçu de ces pneus . En effet après avoir fait à deux endroits different le balancement il y a toujours de la vibration sur le véhicule ce qui n'est pas le cas avec les pneus d'origine et pour le confort de roulement alors très moyen . Alors j'ose espérer que la satisfaction du client est une priorité chez Toyo ..................

We purchased the Observe GSi-6 LS winter tires from our local OK Tire center in Winnipeg this past October 2022 and I must say without a doubt the performance of these tires is outstanding. Driving on the highway, these tires are very quiet with absolutely no road noise at all. Winter traction at icy intersections and in deep snow is first-rate. The best set of tires we have owned and highly recommend them.

Had there tires on my Crosstrek for 3 months now. Car handles great. Tires are not noisy. Driven is one snow storm and felt safe. Great tires.

Put these on my 2020 Grand Cherokee Altitude, only a V6 but I had no issues, got through a white out blizzard in the Trans Canada high way going to Bc and back to Calgary, obviously had to drive to conditions. However I didn’t feel out of control once, felt nice and grounded to the road, even through the worse parts of the highway, Rogers pass, and the Coquihalla. Would recommend these too anyone looking for a reliable winter tyre.

The Toyo GSI- 6 HP is a terrific snow tire. The winters in Calgary AB can be harsh and this tire still performs well into the -30*C on ice and snow. Braking is predictable and rapid. Accelleration on an FWD biased AWD system is better than any other snow tire to date on this car (3rd set). The only rating not in top slot would be cornering stability on ice/frozen roads. There is a tedancy to promote drifting more so than other tires on the same vehicle. However, if you're prepared for it, it's not an issue (or if you like to "play").

I have had these Toyo GSI-6 tires on my cars for years now. I have had other winter tires but they do not come anywhere near the performance of Toyo GSI-6 winter tires. I used them on my Ford Escape for a number of years and now on my Ford Edge and Ford Focus. I have noticed that the handling in all types of weather is much better, I feel more secure than other winter tires I have had as they just seem to track and stick to road better. These tires are very quiet as I changed my summer tires on my Ford Focus to my Toyo GSI-6 winters and the Toyo's are quite noticeably quieter. And when I changed my summers to the Toyo's on my Edge they were at about the same level of sound to me but quite quiet. These tires seem to stand up to wear very well. So much so that I have left my Toyo's winters on my Focus all year long because I drive the Focus very little. And I find they have great traction on hot or rainy summer roads. And I have to run my Toyo's longer than my summers on my Edge but I do not see much more wear than my summers. I believe there is no tire that could be created to beat winter driving but I feel these Toyo GSI-6 are at a better level than other winter tires I know of. I would recommend these tires.

I purchased the previous version of these tires almost 10 years ago and mounted them to dedicated winter rims. I have had the tires balanced each year and have driven in some pretty poor weather. Back country roads and drifty roads are no match for these tires and wet and icy conditions are also handled very well. I just ordered the GCI6 (was GCI5) and looking forward to using them for the next 5-10 years too! Recommend to any Canadian driver!

Perte de contrôle sur la 137 lors tempête de neige. Je pars vers le fossé je ramène en voyant la neige soufflée par les pneus comme dans les pub et horreur un immense camion de gravier dans le sens inverse devant moi je réussi à ramener la voiture dans la bonne voie! Mon cœur bat j’ai tout de suite compris que mes pneus Toyo Observe m’ont sauvé la vie . Ils m’ont duré 3 ans, cette année je rachète les mêmes. Merci aux gens qui font de si bon pneus!

I have these on my 2020 Outback second winter I just don't like the noise on these particular tires ,I've have and still do have Blizaks on my 09 & 17 Forester. Ill probably bite the bullet and switch next winter.

Bought these tires( all 4 snows)....had less than 200 km on them ...hit a small pothole....sidewall buldged out.....had to get it replaced, much to my suprise....NO WARRANTY....my brother in law had exact thing happen to him, and Kal Tire honored a warranty for him on their tires .

I bought these tires for my wife’s Rav4. We just had a lot of rain then the temp dropped and changed to snow. Then froze overnight to make very icy roads. She was very impressed with these tires. Having lived in the Cariboo area of British Columbia for 30 years we have had quite a few sets of winter tires on our vehicles. I honestly think these are the best we’ve had. When my current winter tires on my truck need replacement I will get a set for it as well. PS - new to us so treadwear is unknown

I put these tires on my SUV and have had 4 whole winters out of them!. They handle great, and I feel like I can drive in any weather ( and Halifax gets lots of freezing rain, slush, and snow). They were awesome and I will buy then again when they wear out!

I highly recommend Toyota tires to anyone who asks when I drive on.

I currently have these on my Nissan Armada and really push these tires to their limits on logging roads ice roads and make your own road. They never scared me and they are very predictable in ride comfort and traction. If anything they boost your overall confidence in winter driving conditions. I pull a 27ft trailer and love these tires for harsh canadian winters. My personal downfall is they don't have my exact size in a 275/70/18 in a passenger tire for my truck. I 100 % aprove these. toyo stands by there product and warranty if ever you need there help. Yes i have tried other brands but no other product has ever surpassed Toyo GSI 5 or 6 in my driving career to date.
