Rating Breakdown
Best tire I have ever owned.
I just purchased my second set of the Celsius CUVs for my heavy AWD diesel Merecedes ML320 SUV. They lasted seven years under my hard driving (I have a sporty, heavy foot) and still had reasonable tread left. Great in snow, far better on icy patches than an all season tire, quiet, great in rain and cornering grip that beats most. AND, they are V-rated (240kph) which provides a huge tire safety margin when hitting potholes at normal speeds. For its purpose, it is the perfect tire.
What a great handle "Arctic Flyer"! Thank you for sharing your experience. Have a great winter with the new rubber.
Very scary when driving on wet roads because I slide all over
The most disappointing tires I've ever driven on I purchased these tires to save money on changing and storing costs.. I am a senior on a fixed income but I bought the tires anyway even though they were the most expensive tires that I've ever purchased. They seemed fine in the beginning except for being noisy, but then I drove for the first time in the rain.... my car slid on a turn and I ended up in the oncoming lane.. very scary I thought that this was maybe an anomaly or a one-time occurrence. But every time I drove in the rain. After that I slide if I drive too fast and my tire spins my drive tire spins when I'm starting from a stop. So very little traction when the roads are wet. I feel I'm taking my life into my hands every time I drive when the roads are even damp. My car feels like it's going into a slide. Very disappointed with the tires. I went back to the dealer to let them know about this and see if there was anything they could do but it was two and a half months after I bought them and it hadn't rained. Or at least I hadn't driven in the rain for that two and a half months. Because of this they told me that there was nothing they could do because it was over the 30-day trial. But how was I to know that they were going to slide on wet roads if I hadn't driven on wet roads? Anyway, I was very disappointed at that and afraid to drive on these tires whenever the roads are wet now. Just recently I've had two blowouts on the side walls. One I noticed the bulge and went and got a new tire prorated and then 9 days later a rear tire went while I was driving on the highway. I was so scared. I thought it was going to lose my life because there was a truck in the lane beside me and I was losing control. Anyway back to Niagara Tire and battery in St Catharines and they ordered me another tire, the second one in nine days they told me there's nothing wrong with the tires and then this time I paid $144 for a new tire. I will never buy Toyota tires again in my life. Now I've come to the realization since neither Niagara battery and Toyota can do anything about it even though I talk to the rep. I was very angry by this point because no one could do anything for me and he kept focusing on my words and correcting my words and my language rather than listening to what I was trying to explain to him. But he just gave me the same spiel that after 30 days you're screwed basically. Anyway, here I am wondering if I should continue driving on these tires which scare the hell out of me or just bite the bullet and buy four new tires of another brand. Very disappointed in Toyo tires and the company and the rep that they couldn't even listen to my whole story straight out without criticizing my words. Very dissapointd. I drive in the st Catharines area where we don't get much snow and ice but we do end up having very wet roads in the winter time and we're coming to that season now where I will be fearing for my life every time I get in the car with these tires. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Summer Winter
I am retire, I live in Canada, I have a SUV, see that I don't have to work anymore, I am on low mileage in one year. So I don't want to pay for 2 sets of tires. Celsius CUV is legal for winter. I buy a set 5 years ago, now I am buying a new set. This is not a summer tire neither a winter tire, but it works in both conditions, in summer it will wear a little faster and make a little more noise, in winter it is not as good as a real winter tire. I am aware of all that. If it snow , i can wait for the next day or drive safe, no rush for me. Until now , never had any issues, for me , they are perfect.
Great ride!
I've had Toyo tires in the past, both summer and winter tires and loved them so I wanted to try the all-weather for convenience of not having to do seasonal tire change. I was concerned about the ride but besides great snow and ice performance they give a very smooth ride on my Rogue. I will continue to put Toyo tires on my vehicles!
Great tires for most conditions
I bought toyo Celsius tires for my Honda Ridgeline,I now have had an opportunity to drive in a snow storm, they have traction like on dry pavement, hard stopping on slippery polished ice takes 1/2 the distance. The ride quality is soft and smooth with minimal road noise. I would say these tires were an excellent choice and will provide good value for your hard earned money. Joe, Regina Sask
Thanks for sharing your experience "Joe". Our Observe line of dedicated winter tires would also be a great option for drivers living in parts of Canada that get more extreme winters.
Beautiful Ride have them dor all my vehicles
Beautiful Ride had them for 3 years. Now have them for all my vehicles. Handles a lot if weight, and hi speeds all feels solid.

Excellent grip all year around
This is the second time, I have purchased the set of 4 for my Honda CRV. The biggest benefit to having these on is that you don't have to worry about putting winter tires on. So less hassle of storing and buying a separate set of rims. Grip wise I really like the way it handles the corners. A little expensive as compared to other all-season tires but remember these are All-Weather. Recommended to all car lovers!
Thanks for sharing your experience "Ade Aktr".
Just bought a second set.
Worked so well that I bought second set of these. An all around excellent tire. Yes they may not have a high trèad life, but the trade off is great traction/braking in any type of terrain or weather.
Have had two sets and they are an excellent tire
I have had two sets and ready for my third. Good all around tire for most travel. I do about 50k a year and put them on in the late fall. Get two winters and two summers out of them. No worries with these tires
Thanks for sharing your feedback "Ferretsmc2003".
Great Tires
These tire are the best I've ever owned. They are wonderful handling in on the snow and ice.
Thanks for sharing your feedback with us Sid74!
tres bonne qualité tres bon prix
je suis tres satisfait et je le recomande atout mes amie. tres performent sur glace et neige.
These tires suck!
I purchased 4 All Weather Toya Tires in October, 2021. I feel every bump of built up snow and I'm sliding all over the place on the road. I paid more for 4 of these tires than I did when I purchased 5 all season tires (which were great for winter) but someone told me these were better. NOT! I will never purchase these ever again and once I have paid the tires off I am getting rid of them and going back to my all season.
Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear your experience with our tires was not a positive one and we'll be reaching out to you to discuss your concerns further.
underated tire
I have had two sets of these and opted not to change from winter to summer. they are amazing. Excellent winter driving, I am in Edmonton Alberta-35c. I rode my last set to 70,000km and still lots of tread life left. Winter tires? who needs them, I put these on our SUVs now. I only wished they made them in a 24" tire size for my new Yukon. Highly recommend.
Bruits de roulement
Ne pas dépasser 100 km car le bruit est très deplaisant j'ai fait 1000km et je ne veut plus les avoir
Worst All Weather Tire I have owned
Spent $1150 on four tires installed, last year on my 2017 BMW 330e iperformance hybrid. Immediately after they were put on the car I regretted it. The tires only performed well on dry pavement. On damp/wet pavement the car would drift in every corner-never really knew if/when they would grip. Heavy accelerating in a straight line on wet pavement and the car would slip having to activate the traction control. Snow was even worse. I put 40,000 km on them since I purchased them and just could not handle the poor performance any longer. Pulled them off the car yesterday and put a different brand on the car - 100% better! No more drifting in corners no slipping on acceleration in straight line. Had I known I could have returned them within 30 days of purchase I would have.
