RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA – Toyo Tire Canada, Inc. announces the Proxes T1 AO as an original equipment tire for the 2010 Audi S6 sedan. The responsive handling characteristics of the Proxes T1 AO are a good complement for the performance and luxury-oriented Audi S6.
The Proxes T1 AO will be available for the Audi S6 in size 265/35ZR19 98Y. Its asymmetric, tread design and brand new compound provide enhanced braking and cornering capabilities. Wide outside shoulder blocks provide excellent dry performance, while three wide grooves on the inner and middle sections of the tread enable water evacuation. A performance-oriented construction and rib-based tread design generate high-speed stability and responsive handling.
The Audi S6 is equipped with a 5.2 litre, 435 horsepower V10 engine. It comes standard with Audi’s quattro four-wheel drive system, and reaches zero to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds. The Audi S6 with Toyo Proxes T1 A0 performance tires will be available in the North American, European and Asian markets.
