RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA – Toyo Tire Canada, Inc. continues their sponsorship agreement with the Subaru Performance Driver’s Association (SPDA), also known as SPDA-Online.ca. The SPDA, a proactive motorsport enthusiast club organizes and promotes sanctioned racing events and has chapters in Manitoba, Ontario and Atlantic Canada. They provide a progressive and forward thinking approach to promoting motorsports and compete on Toyo PROXES R888s in a variety of competitions.
The partnership with the SPDA actively promotes Toyo Tires both within the organization and to the motorsports community as a whole. Aside from SPDA organized competitions, members will also promote and compete on Toyo Tires in sanctioned races in autoslalom, solosprint, road racing and highly recognized events like the Targa Newfoundland.
The SPDA also created a new and unique competition called the Attack the Time Trial Series (ATTS). This is the first time the disciplines of gymkhana (autoslalom), Time Attack, Touge, and Drag have been incorporated into a single organized competition.
All members are provided access to Toyo’s flagship race tire, the PROXES R888. The PROXES R888 is a competitive tire across various disciplines of motorsports and is known for its durable and predictable nature. Members can purchase the tire through the Team Toyo Racing program.
