When and how did you get into racing?
Curtis (younger brother) and I signed up for a competition put on by Canadian 4x4 magazine at Apex Mountain in 2005. We were able to take second place even though we competed against bigger and better trucks than the other competitors. After this we were hooked and haven’t stopped.  First offroad racing exposure was when I was 4 years old and both my father and mother raced a 1974 Bronco in tough truck and mud drag competitions.
Most memorable moment in your career:
The first thing that comes to mind is competing in the SilverState 300 as a co-driver. It took us 9 hours and 46 minutes to race 300 miles through the Nevada desert. The race requires a team committed to completing the race. Two chase trucks were required to follow along the course on the highways and pit for us six different times to add fuel and fix any issues. We had six team members and it took every ounce of energy of every team member in order to finish the race. It took me a week to recover from the race.
If you could have anyone as your co-driver for just one race, who would you pick and why:
Robby Gordon. Robby has what I would view as the ideal racing career. He competes in NASCAR, SCORE including the Baja 1000, BITD, and the Dakar. His life sounds like a great life but as a competitor I understand the commitment required to racing and understand how much a commitment it takes for a person like this to be competitive in not only one big time racing series but a number of different ones.
Person Most Admired in your life:
This sounds corny, but my wife. She manages to put up with my lazy butt and endless weekends away racing as well as our two kids. On top of this she somehow finds time to run her own financial planning business.
Hobbies Outside of Racing:
Mountain biking, Volleyball, Basketball
Favorite Daily Driver:
2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Duramax Diesel tuned with a Quadzilla engine management system.
